up and coming
we did it. we finally planned our vacation (hopefully one of maybe two or three short jaunts we’ll try to squeeze in this year). and barring any mishaps with hurricane season, i plan to enjoy key west and all it has to offer in full. translation: i will be getting some long-awaited and badly needed time underwater.
i’m also looking forward to using the digital camera in a new environment. i’ve had my d50 for about 8 months or so and it hasn’t seen anything more than chicago and st. louis. the anticpation mounts as i think of sunsets and beaches and colorful surroundings. and true, sunset shots are overdone, but in my mind, always underrated. having lived in a tropical setting for a longer period than most, i can say without a shadow of a doubt that the scene of the sun kissing the water’s edge never ceases to leave an impression. it will always be breathtaking.
did i mention i’m going diving? yeah, it’s that exciting.
