don't fight it
last night, the season premier of rob & big was the hot topic in our household. andrew and cinnamon even joined us for the event. the boy and i have been avid fans of this show for a while now, and last night’s episode did not disappoint. net guns, anyone?
now, i recommend watching the whole show, however, the first minute or so is enough to incite laughter. and i’d be lying if i said i haven’t had a tab open to the mtv website just so i could replay the damn thing a few dozen times. who hasn’t been caught/nearly caught rocking out to [insert embarrassing guilty pleasure pop icon here] in the car wash?
other random thoughts that come to mind upon watching this clip:
1) jim carrey as “the riddler” in the batman franchise.
2) spongy carwash adventures with my sister.
3) my own epileptic fits in the car, only i believe “groove is in the heart” may have been the culprit.
and one has to wonder, did the lyricist (enrique, was it you?) behind “do you know what it feels like to be the last one to know the lock on the door has changed” up the dosage that day? whatever the catalyst, who knew that shit could be so catchy?
