a day of follow ups

there is a personal trait of mine that is a bit of a conundrum. secretly, i love to-do lists; i enjoy knowing i have tasks to tend to. i guess it makes me feel important and that i have mini missions to pursue. but at the same time, the follow-through can be a drag. and today is one of those days where i’ve tackled nearly all of my correspondence on things still in the air, both work related as well as personally speaking. but, nothing has been finalized. perhaps that’s the part of my to-do lists i find unappealing—i can’t cross out anything out when the onus is on someone else. it is an exercise in patience, something that i know i can always improve upon.

Leave a note

  1. i have the same list problem. love making the lists but get so irked when things are half done but can’t be crossed off because of SOMEONE ELSE getting in my way. Grrrr.
