keeping busy

things i did today:

• worked on the finishing of my new top. the armholes were posing problems, but i think i figured out how i wanted to complete them.
• cleaned house. in fact, i think i cleaned the kitchen two or three times because i kept making a mess in there.
• made some hummus and cookies.
• walked the dog twice.
• walked to the bank and to trader joe’s.
• did a couple loads of laundry.
• watched 2 episodes of the gilmore girls. i <3 that show and miss it dearly.

• reserved some zipcars for upcoming business trips.

i really have no trouble keeping myself occupied during times of non-work. in fact, i’m kicking myself for not getting to the flower market to buy some plants for our back patio. i want to jazz up that area, get some little herb gardens secured to our railing, and put a tree in the one corner to block the sun from my eyes in the morning.

i think it’s time for some knitting. that’s the one thing i haven’t done yet today.
